All of the books and dolls listed are things that I believe in and recommend very highly. They would all be a perfect gift for a doll lover of any age; children, Mom, Grandma, or just to treat yourself! This book combines two of my favorite things, doll making and birds. There are patterns and instructions for making more than ten different birds, nests, cages and much more.

Corolle Tidoo Doll
From the moment I opened the box I have been delighted with this doll, she has a very sweet face, a soft body that's huggable, and is perfect for baby doll lovers of all ages, but especially little ones.

Stitched Toys
Many of the designs in the book are simple, basic designs that would be great for a first time doll maker to try. There are a wealth of beautiful color photographs, at least one of every toy.

Cloth Doll Artistry
The best word I can use to describe the book is delicious! The wonderful color photos that fill this book are worth the price of the book all by themselves. This book is inspiration in paper form.

Who's Your Dada, Redefining the Doll Through Mixed Media
by Linda and Opie O'Brien is a fascinating look at creating works of art with found objects. For fans of "art dolls", this book is a must have. For those of you, like myself, who prefer more traditional dolls, there is a wealth of usable information and inspiration in this book.

Doll Making for the First Time
For those of you who have never made a doll, and don't know where to start, I have the perfect suggestion. Get a copy of Dollmaking For the First time, by Miriam Gourley. If, on the other hand, you have some experience making dolls, you will still enjoy this book.

Handmade For Profit!
For those of you who make your dolls to sell, or who are thinking about trying to earn a little extra money selling your dolls, this book is an invaluable addition to your library.

This book is a great addition to any doll maker's library, especially if you like OOAK dolls and figures. There is a wealth of information and detailed instructions to make the figures shown in the book.

A review of 200 Years of Dolls by Dawn Herlocher. This book is full of useful and interesting information and beautiful color pictures, as well as history on all the dollmakers.

All-Girl Crafts Book Review
Don't let the name of this book fool you, "All-Girl Crafts" by Kathy Ross and illustrated by Elaine Garvin,is packed full of great ideas for crafters and doll makers of any age.This book is fun to read and delightfully illustrated.

20 Inch LaBaby
This is a wonderful, well made doll that little girls will love, and so will Mom and Grandma.

Review of Cloth Dolls by Brenda Brightmore
This book belongs on every doll makers bookshelf, but it won't spend much time on the shelf. A beautiful book that will inspire you.
